1. Mount Batu Puteh
Mount Batu Puteh near Kuala Woh in Tapah, Perak. Batu Puteh easily seen from the North South Expressway but getting to the base of the climb is quite a challenge.
2. Lata Iskandar
This multi-tiered waterfall is an ideal picnic area and a favourite stopover for those on their way to Cameron Highlands.
3. Mount Inas
Mount Inas is near Lawin, Perak and there are two treks up the mountain from Pekan Lawin in the east, and from Selama in the west.
4. Teluk Intan Boatyards
In these coastal villages of Perak one can see the boat building trade has been around for centuries through its designs.
5. Mount Yong Yap
Mount Yong Yap in Sungai Siput, Perak, is one of the higher mountains in the peninsula but can be climbed in three days. To get to the base of the trek at Kuala Mu, you will need to hire 4WD to the Orang Asli village, which is 2.5hrs away.
6. Pavillion Square Tower
Located close to the Kuala Kangsar Town Council field, it is considered by some to be one of the most beautiful old buildings of this Royal town.
7. Krian District Mangrove Swamp
The Krian District boasts the largest mangrove swamp area in the State of Perak. It undoubtedly, have a variety of birds and animals that co-exist around its unique swampy surroundings.
8. Keris Memorial
This monument in the shape of a kris, a sharp-bladed Malay knife, was erected in 1963 to commemorate the installation of the 33rd Sultan of Perak
9. The Lenggong Archaeological Museum
The Lenggong Archaeological Museum, also known as the Kota Tampan Archaeological Museum, is located on a paleolithic-era archaeological site that existed 31,000 years B.C.
10. Mount Bubu
Although not as high as the higher peaks of the Main Range, Mount Bubu at the southern end of Bintang Range is quite a large mountain with sweeping hills and valleys on its north and west sides.
